IntraLase iFS ALL-LASER LASIK

Introducing New Jersey's first and only iFSŪ Advanced Femtosecond Laser for performing all-laser LASIK vision correction, the safest, most trusted procedures available.

About iFS All-Laser LASIK

The iFSŪ is the latest and most advanced generation of femtosecond lasers. While other LASIK procedures use a mechanical microkeratome to create a flap of tissue on top of the cornea, the Intralase iFSŪ All-laser LASIK uses the bladeless technology of the highly advanced Femtosecond laser.

The iFSŪ laser creates what has also been called "The 10-Second Flap" through unprecedented speed and accuracy, and is designed to deliver biomechanically engineered flaps customized for each individual cornea. Because of its extraordinary speed and precision, the iFSŪ Femtosecond laser offers less discomfort for the patient, reduced tissue response and less inflammation for a more comfortable post-operative recovery.

What's different about iFS All-Laser LASIK?

The iFSŪ Femtosecond laser is designed uniquely with an inverted bevel-in side cut angle to effortlessly lift the corneal flap. The iFSŪ laser also enhances the adhesion of the post-operative flap and the stability of the cornea after LASIK. Additionally, it provides advanced options like the elliptical flap, by customizing the LASIK flap dimensions according to individual refractive errors and the corneal anatomy.

After extensive research, development, and clinical trials, the FDA has approved the iFSŪ Femtosecond laser as an amazing innovation in LASIK laser vision correction technology. The new iFSŪ Advanced Femtosecond Laser system takes LASIK surgery — and more specifically, LASIK flap creation — to a whole new standard of speed and control. It's designed to deliver superbly engineered flaps that can be customized for every individual cornea.

Only the best for our LASIK patients!

Many patients who undergo iFSŪ LASIK at Corneal Associates see better than 20/20 after their procedure!"

"Corneal Associates of New Jersey has been awaiting the release of iFSŪ for a while, and finally it's here. Never before in the history of LASIK have we seen this level of safety and precision. Its unprecedented speed and precision provides a faster procedure and phenomenal results."

Theodore Perl, MD

The National Aeronautics and Space Agency (NASA) has approved All-Laser LASIK technologies for use on U.S. astronauts. NASA's decision was made after reviewing extensive military clinical data, which showed the combination of femtosecond laser for LASIK flap creation and wavefront-guided excimer laser for corneal sculpting provides superior safety and vision.

At Corneal Associates of New Jersey, we want the best eye care treatments available, not just for astronauts, but for each and every one of our patients!

Corneal Associates of New Jersey is fully committed to utilizing the safest and most advanced LASIK technology available. Now, with the addition of the iFSŪ laser, we have raised the standards of LASIK laser vision correction for New Jersey and the entire United States.
