Theodore Perl, M.D. established Corneal Associates of New Jersey in 1983 as a premier ophthalmology practice, specializing in the highest level of expertise in the treatment of external eye diseases, LASIK laser vision correction, cataract surgery, and corneal transplant surgery. The eye doctors of Corneal Assoicates of New Jersey are specialty fellowship-trained in areas involving the cornea and refractive surgery.
Dr. Perl has been named one of New Jersey's "Top Docs" by New Jersey Monthly Magazine. VISX Inc. has distinguished Dr. Perl as one of their "Star Surgeons," placing him in the top 5% of LASIK surgeons nationwide.
Corneal Associates of New Jersey has performed over 6,000 cornea transplants, averaging approximately 300 per year. We are considered among the "experts in the field".
Since the FDA approved LASIK in 1995, Corneal Associates of New Jersey has successfully completed over 12,000 LASIK procedures with outstanding results.

country that offer a one-year Cornea and Refractive
Fellowship program for ophthalmologists seeking
subspecialtization in corneal and refractive surgery. Dr. Perl
began his fellowship program fifteen years ago, and is responsible
for the succes of many ophthalmologists in those areas of study.
Corneal Associates of New Jersey has provided corneal transplantation, cataract surgery and LASIK laser vision correction services to the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital. Our practice was among the first to offer CK (Conductive Keratoplasty) to those patients who enjoy normal distance vision but are frustrated by the need to wear glasses for their near work.
